1) For “automatic crack detection,” what’s the ideal output for your workflow (just flagging that a crack is present, marking/highlighting the crack location on the model, or generating something like a report for documentation)?

2) What kind of piping are you assessing and in what setting (indoor plumbing, industrial/process, underground/utility, etc.) — and are your scans primarily of the exterior surface?

3) How precise does the detection need to be (ok with catching most cracks even if there are some false positives vs. only surfacing high-confidence cracks), and what’s the impact if one gets missed?
