I am currently unable to directly convert a LiDAR scan from my iPhone into Docusketch or Xactimate using Polycam. It would be beneficial to have a feature that allows for direct conversion to streamline my workflow and eliminate the need for third-party software.

I need to generate a .esx file directly from Polycam for my projects. Currently, I have to use workarounds like manual import using floor plan underlay or ordering a professional Xactimate sketch via Transform Engine, which can be time-consuming or costly. Having a direct .esx export feature would streamline my workflow and save time and resources.

Hi Witty Coral — thanks for sharing this, super helpful context. Totally hear you on the extra time/cost of the current workarounds (underlay imports or ordering a Transform Engine sketch). I would like to have a native Xactimate workflow within Polycam that includes ESX export. This feature would streamline my process by allowing direct exports from Polycam, saving time and effort in converting files manually.
